Gulbarchyn Toialieva is a civil society activist from Kyrgyzstan with over 15 years of work experience in the field of human rights and peace building. She graduated with an Executive Master’s degree from the Geneva Graduate Institute in 2016. She is a founder of the Initiative Support Center Zhalyn Public Foundation (NGO). Gulbarchyn has worked for various projects and programmes on preventing cross-border and inter-ethnic conflicts, religious radicalisation among women and girls, protecting HIV-positive children and their parents' rights. In 2020, she participated in ifa's CrossCulture Programme, where she spent three months at "Inside Out" and took courses on storytelling, photo and video making.
