Alumni

Alumni are the calling cards for ifa's work. They have expertise abroad, are communicators and have researched and implemented projects. The former funding recipients, representatives and experts bring together their engagement in cultural exchange, the freedom of the arts and expression, justice, non-violent conflict resolution and their commitment to strengthening civil society. ifa offers alumni the opportunity to network further, to benefit from specialist information and funding possibilities and, as experts, to shape concrete ifa activities.

The interdisciplinary alumni network currently consists of more than a thousand alumni worldwide, bringing together former recipients from all of ifa’s programmes: the CrossCulture Programme, the Project Funding for German Minorities such as the Deployment, the Job Shadowing and the Cultural Assistant Programmes, the Research Programme "Culture and Foreign Policy", the various art funding programmes for exhibitions and artists' contacts, the Rave Scholarships and the recipients of the Research Award.
