An exhibition curated by the Foundation for Contemporary Art - Ghana, invited by ifa Gallery Stuttgart as part of the project OtherNetwork.

In light of the current global crises, making the happiness in our dreams a reality does matter, as we question whether things will return to "normal". This is explored in the exhibition along the spatial conditions in the cities of Accra and Stuttgart, which connect with each other through real and fictional encounters, interactions and interventions. Works of six Ghanaian artists will be created, examining the two cities in terms of soundscapes, ecology, language and habitat, fostering and nurturing growth and dreams.

The six artists from Accra explore concepts of urban space, ideas and multi-layered pasts that connect us: they explore ideas of the city as a place, as myth and as an agent of fiction, and reframe questions of belonging. The project is created in the context of OtherNetwork: the Foundation for Contemporary Art (FCA) – Ghana is invited by ifa Gallery to inhabit its space in a close process of exchange.

Artists: Billie McTernan, Eric Gyamfi, Fatric Bewong, Nii Noi Nortey, Nana Nyahan Tachie-Menson, Steloolive (Evans Mireku Kissi)
