What is neuro-diversity and why does neuro-diversity inclusion in the workplace benefit everyone?

Institutions and employers are currently trying to pay more attention to diversity in the workplace. Many focus on gender or ethnical diversity, but so far little is known and let alone done to build neuro-diversity inclusive organisations. Many employees struggle with open-plan office set-ups, not only people on the autism-spectrum for example.

Why does building inclusive workplaces essentially benefit everyone in an organisation? What needs to be done to make teams more diverse but also the stories that are told? How can voices of minorities be better represented?
