Mazen Kerbaj invites Tony Buck + one

Concert and Finissage

Music and visual arts are the two facets of Mazen Kerbaj’s work. In the frame of his exhibition In the Presence / Absence of Mazen Kerbaj at ifa Gallery Berlin the series ‘Mazen Kerbaj invites X + one’  takes place. In the concert series Kerbaj invites of his close collaborators in Berlin, asking her or him to bring along another musician. The name of the second guest will remain unrevealed to Kerbaj and to the audience until the joint concert. On 16 August, the musician Tony Buck brings along a guest to the concert with Kerbaj.

Tony Buck

Tony Buck works as a drummer, percussionist, improviser, guitarist, video maker and producer. He is a member of the trio The Necks and has been involved in diverse tourings, recordings and other projects worldwide. He is active in different communities and festivals and creates video works for use with live music performance. Currently he is working on a solo adaption of his album ‘UNEARTH’ and a a guitar driven post-rock project.
