Monitoring of effects - movie Manual

Already in the planning phase of a project, the question of desired effects and thus the relevance of a project is raised. First impact measures and their continuous examination should be established in this very phase. The thus created structure serves both as orientation and for later assessment. zivik's approach is to accompany projects throughout their cycle and to put the context of a conflict and its influential key actors into the foreground. This has motivated zivik to develop the movie Manual as a tool to monitor the effects of peace-building projects. At the same time, this establishes a sound footing for zivik's funding practice.

Submitting your application

  • Please contact us via e-mail at zivik(at)ifa.de before preparing and submitting an application
  • The application consists of three documents: Application form, Project planning and Financial plan
  • Projects commencing in January or February 2018 should have their applications submitted before 15th of October 2017
  • For early 2018, provisional budget management for federal funds is expected in the follow-up of federal parliamentary elections in Germany; as a consequence, please note the decisions as to whether or not an application may be granted can only be made for follow-up projects (i.e. projects which received funding in 2017)
  • First applications for projects will be processed as usual. However, the final decisions on grants and project start will remain pending until the end of the provisional budget management for federal funds; in this case, "early project start" is no option for these projects
