Structure and procedure:

Each year, selected participants from abroad complete an eight- to twelve-week scholarship with one of the organisations in Germany. German participants travel the other way round to one of the programme’s target countries.

German fellows plan and organise their stay abroad largely independently. For international applicants, expert and regional staff of the ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) identify a suitable host institution according to the applicant profile. Existing contacts to German organisations can be helpful here. After approval by the host organisation (in Germany), the participants receive a scholarship agreement with the terms and conditions of the grant.

Next call for applications:

The scholarship “CCP Muslim majority countries” is announced every year in autumn/winter. Interested applicants are expected to be able to apply again from October / November 2019 for the year 2020.
