Lithuanian Cultural Institute
Purpose/Activities
The Lithuanian Cultural Institute based in castle Rennhof in Lampertheim-Hüttenfeld pursues the following goals:
- support of the cultural works of Lithuanians in Germany;
- support of several kinds of Lithaunian schools, kindergardens, folk dance communities and similar clubs in Germany;
- support of the German-Lithuanian collaboration in the scientific and cultural field;
- preservation of Lithuanian cultural goods.
To reach these goals, the Institute accomplishes scientific conferences, study meetings, debates, concerts and exhibitions and maintains a Lithuanian library and archive as well as a museum. Additionally, it offers own publications.
