Pool Malebo ist ein bekannter Ort in Kinshasa, eine tropische Flusslandschaft. Seit der Kolonialzeit ist sie gleichsam ein reales Handelszentrum wie eine fiktive Projektionsfläche europäischer Fantasien. Ausgehend von diesem internationalen Umschlagplatz der Waren und Bilder erkundet das kongolesisch/deutsche Duo Mukenge/Schellhammer in der multimedialen Ausstellung Pool Malebo das fiktionale Potenzial aktueller Darstellungen von Fremdheit.
