Gabriela Kobus, currently living and working in Leipzig, collaborated with a team of curators from Kairo called 'StudioKhana' and artists from Kairo, Leipzig and Dresden. Within the project they focused on working with the terms 'amusement park in the slum'.

In the combination of the terms 'amusement park and slum', Gabriela Kobus sees an unwieldy field that raises questions about absurdity, pathos and dubious ideas for charity. She brings up a connection of different realities of life via the need for pleasure to open up an experimental thinking space in which contradictions and questions as well as both subjects can be examined.

The artistic contributions are presented in a group exhibition at the a&o kunsthalle in Leipzig.
