'The Crack Begins Within'

11th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art

This year's edition of the Berlin Biennial is curated by María Berríos, Renata Cervetto, Lisette Lagnado and Agustín Pérez Rubio. The ifa supports the participation of eight artists: Osías Yanov, Gabriela Krista Lluch Dalena, Cian Dayrit, Heidi Abderhalden, Rolf Abderhalden, Virginia de Medeiros, Natasha Mendonca and Mariela Scafati. They present their works on the critical thought processes of the exhibition concept, which is divided into three parts. It aims to build lasting relationships and learn not only from artists but also from the city and its inhabitants.
The overall concept was adapted due to the Corona pandemic. Exhibitions and events can only be visited via time slots booked online.
