With this initiative, the awardee has provided substantial support to the constructive role that culture can play in international affairs, in peace processes, in European integration, and in civil society dialogue.
ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) presents the Theodor Wanner Award to individuals or organisations whose commitment has made an outstanding contribution to peace, international understanding and cultural dialogue.
