Breath Pieces (Ritual in Three Acts)

as a part of exhibition "Camila Sposati - Breath Pieces"

13 May 2023
20:00 - 21:30
Rehearsal Stage Theater Rampe
Filderstraße 47
70180 Stuttgart

The Brazilian artist Camila Sposati invites the audience to participate in a series of artistic and discursive "Aktionen" that bring imagination, sound, and body into resonance. The starting point is the earth's interior, with its energy currents able to transform its surface. In Theater Rampe, several people from Stuttgart were invited to play with wind instruments created for the exhibition Breath Pieces in the ifa Gallery – and thus connect spatial, sound, and vocal bodies. Together with the artist and guests, Theater Rampe and ifa Gallery invite the audience to an open conversation after the performance.

ifa Galleries

Thw ifa Galleries in Stuttgart und Berlin present contemporary art from  a global point of view. The work of the ifa Galleries is based on seeing the world from a diversity and plurality of perspectives, discovering new stories, and shaping emancipatory processes, interactions, and artistic spaces. Our focus is on long-term relationships with artists, partners, and visitors, and our exhibitions and education programmes are developed through practices of collaboration that trace global entanglements and piece them together in new forms of narrative.
