For the third time EUNIC Berlin presents with the participation of ifa BABYLON EUROPA – the colourful show of European cultures at the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT.
Artists from different European regions unite in an impressive kaleidoscope of cultures on one stage to explore our common cultural diversity in an artistic way.

BABYLON EUROPA is on site for invited guests and can be seen by everyone in the livestream.

The show is hosted in German, but the content resp. the performances are international; using the universal language of music.

BABYLON EUROPA

New circus from the Czech Republic, visual art from Belgium, brass-funk-rap-deluxe from Berlin, Balkan jazz from Bulgaria or Roma songs from Slovakia. What sounds like a search run through a European multimedia / multi-arts player takes the shape of a fascinating show on 6 September. Moderated by Raffaella Jungbauer (radioeins) and musically provided with bass, horn and groove by the band 'Make A Move', 13 artists from Europe will meet – all of them outstanding representatives of their field of art, with a reputation far beyond their own homeland. They come together in the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT to become part of a show. As BABYLON EUROPA, this show claims to be a creative snapshot of an entire continent. For many, it is the first guest performance and exchange since the pandemic began.

The ifa is participating with singer-songwriter Petra Acker. Petra Acker hails from Brasov, Romania, and learned to enjoy and express music from a young age.
Her path led through children's choir, youth bands, ensembles, orchestras and numerous professional bands, first as a singer, then as a songwriter. Variety in style is one of her trademarks, from classical to funk, gospel, jazz, hip hop, African music to new genres such as house, EDM and lofi, she is quite familiar and at home.
