Europe Day

9 May is Europe Day! 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration - a milestone in European integration. Europe Day commemorates the idea of French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman to promote peace and unity in Europe through economic co-operation. This initiative laid the foundations for today's European Union. The ifa is committed to intercultural dialogue in Europe and worldwide through funding and projects.
