Conditions of Participation

The prize draw operator is the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen e.V. (ifa), Charlottenplatz 17, 70173 Stuttgart. By participating in the prize draw, users accept the conditions of participation. Individuals aged 18 and over may participate. ifa staff and their families may not participate. The prize draw "100 Years of ifa" is open until 29.06.2017. The game card must be posted (with adequate postage) to the address given or put into the prize draw box (ifa Gallery Stuttgart, Charlottenplatz 17, 70173 Stuttgart) by 8 pm on 29.06.2017. Participants may take part more than once. Winners will be chosen randomly during the ifa summer party on 29.06.2017. The winner of the main prize will be announced during the summer party. All winners will be informed by e-mail. If the winners do not respond to this within one month, then the prize is no longer awarded.


The main prize is a trip for two from Stuttgart to the Venice Biennale, to be undertaken between 1 September and 31 October 2017, including return flights from Stuttgart to Venice, a maximum of 2 nights' accommodation in Venice and Biennale entrance tickets. The winner of the main prize will be announced at the ifa summer party. Since 1971 ifa has been under commission of the German Foreign Office to coordinate the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. There are 99 further prizes in the draw and lots of surprises!

Prizes cannot be paid cash.

What do we do with your personal data?

We accept, process, use and protect your data in accordance with all legal data protection requirements. Your data will be saved up to the moment when the prizes are sent out, and thereafter they will be deleted. We do not use your data for market or opinion research or for commercial purposes. We respect the legal requirement not to use or pass on your e-mail address or telephone number for advertising purposes.

What happens to the money I pay for the game card?

Proceeds from the sale of game cards (€1 per card) are used for non-commercial charitable purposes and in this case go towards running the ifa Gallery Stuttgart.
