Clara Meister, born in 1981, is a curator based in Berlin. Her practice focuses on translation, language, and music. She was 2012 curator in residence at MINI/Goethe-Institut Curatorial Residencies Ludlow 38 in New York. Meister is co-founder of Soundfair, an exhibition collective based in Berlin. The goal of Soundfair is to exhibit music as a means of artistic expression. Meister is co-founder and editor of the journal …ment, an online journal that operates at the intersection between culture, art and politics.

S.T.I.F.F. is a Berlin based studio founded by the architects Florentin Steininger & Till-Moritz Ganssauge with focus on sustainability, diy, archaics and methodology working at the intersections of architecture, design and arts. Collaborations and production with Kader Attia, Nathalie Djurberg, Camille Henrot, Soundfair, dOCUMENTA 13, Heinrich- Böll-Stiftung, SAVVY Contemporary, Goethe Institut NY, Marrakech Biennale 5, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Balestra Berlin, ar/ge kunst Bozen, Schinkel Pavillon, Prinzessinen Gärten and others.

"Singing Maps and Underlying Melodies" was developed in collaboration with Moroccan musicians, Kamar Studios Morocco and the architecture studio S.T.I.F.F. Concept and production of exhibition object is a collaboration between Clara Meister and Till-Moritz Ganssauge from S.T.I.F.F..
