Linie Line Linea. Contemporary Drawing

Nanne Meyer invites us to inspect the world from a great height, and to see clouds and cities passing by. The artist merges her view of the world from a plane with the process of drawing, which follows the movement of the plane and yet also works at its own speed. Meyer’s works show inside and outside spaces, and are both a way of thinking and also a possible inventory of the world. In amazement the artist follows the line, which becomes a hippopotamus and a bicycle, and then again a line.
