Marc Brandenburg selects his motifs from his direct subcultural and urban surroundings in Berlin. The cold precision and dark sheen of his drawings correspond with the latent violence and aggression of this reality. His works are based on photos taken by himself and others, which he sometimes uses in negative form. For the works on show here he has reproduced some of his drawings as transparent stickers and placed them together in a collage that represents an explosive panorama of a society trapped in its desires.
