Linie Line Linea. Contemporary Drawing

With mathematical precision and yet great freedom in drawing style, Jorinde Voigt’s works transform dynamic events into linear systems. Her Blickwinkel-Studien (Point of View Studies) present a model for the perception of space in motion. The displacement of segments of circles according to a fixed timetable stands for the shift of perspective and point of view of an imaginary observer.
