
TestDaF Preparation course Target Group • Requirements • Duration • Course contents • Fees • Schedule • Application Target group This is a course for people who either want to begin studying in Germany or who want to continue studies they have begun in their home country. Participants will need to have a sufficient command of the German language in order to cope with the demands of academic life in Germany. As well, this course is appropriate for anyone wanting to acquire a TestDaF-certificate, as proof of their proficiency in German, for scientific or professional purposes in their home country Requirements Participants must have sucessfully completed the Intermediate Level II German course or have a comparable knowledge of German (about 800 to 1000 lesson units) Duration Eight weeks each 72 lessons of 45 minutes each Classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6 p.m. – 8.30 p.m. Course contents Specific preparation for the TestDaF-Examination The course familiarizes you with all four components of the examination. It is based on learning model-phrases, as well as practising reading comprehension, listening comprehension and written expression. Training for the oral component of the examination is also a part of the course. Vocabulary and vital topics of grammar are reviewed. The course also includes a model test with all three written components of the TestDaF-Examination.
