Nguyen Kim Hoang Nguyen Kim Hoang, born in My Tho in 1976, works as an artist known as Himiko Nguyen in Ho Chi Minh City. Already during her studies at the University of Fine Arts in Ho Chi Minh City with the main subject sculpture, which she completed in 2005, she received several awards for her works and participated in an artist in residence programme in South Korea. She has been showing her works in numerous exhibitions in Vietnam since 2001; since 2005 she runs the Café Himiko, which she founded in Ho Chi Minh City as a café that not only offers food and drinks but also exhibits art. She has not only been presenting her own work here but has also organised exhibitions and numerous artist talks since 2006. Künstler-Datenbank (in German)
