Sherman Ong Beng Ann
Sherman Ong Beng Ann was born in 1971 in Malacca, Malaysia. He came to Singapore on an ASEAN Scholarship and graduated with a BA in Law from the National University of Singapore. His interests lie in fiction and documentary filmmaking, and in art photography. Many of his works have been exhibited in Europe and Asia. In June 2004, he was in a group photography exhibition "The Month of Photo 2004" as part of the Singapore Arts Festival. He participates actively in film festivals and art exchange programs. He travels regularly between Malaysia and Singapore, where he freelances as an executive producer, director and photographer for television commercials, music videos, theatre, drama and documentary projects.
