Cultural education and digitisation

German-Chinese Forum

Cultural education aims at shaping the personality with the aid of the arts. Digitisation not only gives rise to radically new forms of artistic expression and genres, but also to new tasks and forms for the pedagogical communication of formal and non-formal contexts. German-Chinese exchange on the topic "Cultural education and digitisation" addresses the question of significance and consequences of digitisation for cultural education in Germany and China. This enables a specialised transcultural dialogue between teachers, specialists of extra-curricular work with children and young people as well as academics from China and Germany working in the relevant disciplines.

The project is funded by the Mercator Foundation and takes place in cooperation with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation statt.
