At the Dresden Museum Night, visitors will be able to experience the artistic transfer of elements of textile culture from Ghana into a musical performance and to create their own concerns in the production of an Arpillera.

La Arpillera en Dresden
With the Arpilleras, fabric-stitched pictures, women from the global South tell stories. Accompanied by Karen Michelsen Castañon and Silvia Chávez Gaytán, a collective fabric image is created, which is about encounters. No previous knowledge required.

8 – 10 p.m.
Kente Sound
The artist Constanze Nowak converts the patterns and colors of Kente fabrics from Ghana and the rhythm of the web process into an artistic-musical space experience.
