Purpose/Activities

The Robert Bosch Stiftung represents the philanthropic endeavors of Robert Bosch (1861-1942). Its activities mainly focus on the fields of science, health, international relations, education, society and culture.

The foundation is divided into four areas. It promotes external projects and initiates its own projects for developing and running programmes:

Incorporated in the Robert Bosch Stiftung are

  • the Hans Walz Foundation for the research of naturopathy in particular the homeopathy
  • the Otto und Edith Mühlschlegel Foundation that aims to examine topics related to old age and enable people to manage this period of their lives in a positive way
  • the DVA Foundation that fosters German-French relations in the fields of cultural studies, translation, literature, and theatre
  • the Rochus and Beatrice Mummert-Foundation that appeals to High Potentials of the disciplines economic, engineer, physical or touristic sciences from the acceding EU-countries and EU-candidates from Central and Southeast Europe
