UK/KOREA Creative Futures 2017 is a yearlong celebration of the longstanding relationship between the UK and Korea. Throughout 2017 and into 2018, cultural events, exhibitions and activities will take place in both countries. Audiences will have the chance to experience innovative and exciting creative work from some of the best UK and Korean artists and institutions. A focus is on forging futures for both emerging artists and new audiences in the arts and creative industries of the UK and Korea. For this reason the slogan of UK/Korea 2017−18 is "Creative Futures".

The UK India Year of Culture is also a celebration of the longstanding relationship between the UK and India. Here too, the agenda covers cultural events, exhibitions and activities in both countries throughout 2017. The Year of Culture will include programmes celebrating India’s heritage and contemporary culture as part of the India@UK2017 festival. The programme for India@UK2017 will blend artistic traditions from the UK with a wide spectrum of Indian cultural and literary traditions across multiple venues in the UK.
