Darwin Festival is an 18-day international celebration of music, theatre, visual art, dance, cabaret and more in Darwin, Australia. This year’s festival runs 10-27 August. In addition to a line up of performance, dance, comedy, circus and more from Australia, it features the Modern Maori Quartet from New Zealand, music from the Cambodian Space Project, Asian Rock Documentaries from Cambodia and Indonesia, cabaret performance from the UK, and stand-up comedy from Malaysia.

The Darwin Festival traces its roots back to 1979, initially as floral festival. Starting in the 1990s the focus shifted to the arts.
